He was also a director of BlackBerry but resigned from the job after declaration of its disposal. People hope that Mr. Vatsa will surely apply some idea to take the company out of this loss.
Mr. Prem Vatsa has completed his Bachelor of Technology in Chemical stream from IIT, Madras. He is an MBA from the University of Ontario and started his company in 1985. Now a days, he is the biggest share holder along with 10% market share of BlackBerry.
Mr. Vatsa has offered 4.7 billion US dollors means 295 billion rupees for acquiring the company and the board of directors has welcomed the offer also. If deal gets to the final stage then Mr. Prem Vatsa will be the next owner of BlackBerry. It will take a final decision on November 4, 2013 because the same offer is opened for other companies.
